Reflection Essay

Part 1 

The twelve dimension is very important to know yourself. Most of huge companies used these twelve dimensions to know them employee. The Knowledge works test considered as a test to know yourself what the position you suppose to filled and off course depend on your qualifications too. Here I will explain some dimension that relate to me.

First of all, Growth and the polarities are Personal and Material, example if you have a company and your production in lower than the normal, some of them they change the environment of the offices like to be more development in technology that means you are in the material side, but if focused in the employee and make them to increase then skills you are in the personal side.

 Another one is Relationship and it polarities are situation and universal, example if you have a party and invite all your families with coworker you are in universal side, but if it opposite and invite only your family you are in the situation side.

Next one is Expression and it polarities are revealing and concealing, example if you see your friends doing something wrong and you don’t talk to your supervisor that means you are concealing, but if you tell him that means you are revealing.

Last one is Status and it polarities are ascribed and achieved, example if you apply to the job and see someone accepted with his certificate on that means throw someone who have power that means it ascribed and if accepted by your certificate and by your hard work you are in the achieved side.

Part 2

 The report said that I am very achieved side and I am agree with it, for example I really like to achieve something by my hard work. I five years I really need to development dissension making the report said I am in the relationship side which I thinks is bad, it is ok to help someone you know, but the role is the role. So I really want to change in this side in next five years. Also I want to be different in the planning dimension the report said I am in the time side, I like that, but in the same time I need to planning by people so I can be more fair with them.

Part 3

I like to be different in the next five years and like the different to be useful for me and for the company if I had it, because I think if you are different you will more useful in your life. Also I will be more useful for my company if I am know how i can react in the right way so i can solve the problem without any issue.

Exercise # 7

There are 3 dimensions and 3 polarity's that are available in this article :
First of thing is accountability: community because as we can see it will affect on the community. Then will be the decision making: rules he want from the people to election not about relationships but on the benefit to the society . Finally, Outlook: innovation because they want to change and develop the future of UAE .

Exersice 6 Jose Mojica

1. On revolutions and revolts: Dimension: Accountability-Polarities :Community / Individual. Because Humans are depending on a society, for example, “altogether to create and build a better society".
2. On legalizing divorce: Dimension: Outlook -Polarities: Tradition / Innovation. Because People used to wear dresses like suits and ties which were traditional beliefs about the fear of change.
3. On materialism: Dimension: growth - Polarities: Personal/Materials. People were only considered to be consumers back then so, the focus on materialism was dominating.
4. On global consumption: Dimension: Accountability-Polarities: Community / Individual. He's concerned about 7 billion of the world.
5. On ending the conflict: Dimension: Accountability-Polarities: Community / Individual. He mentioned that he would feel selfish if he didn't help and become part of the solution. 
6. On staying humble: Dimension: Communication: Direct/Indirect because he was direct "You need a palace..."
7. On staying humble in office: The dimension is context and the polarity is informal because he don’t like the formal things like the palace and the red carpet.
8. On redistribution of wealth: The dimension is growth and the polarity Personal because he said the most important investment is human resources. 
9. On age: The dimension is expression and the polarity is reveal because he is revealing about his sadness. 
10.  On addiction: The dimension is communication and the polarity is direct because he talks directly.
11. On being called the world’s poorest president: The dimension is outlook and the polarity is tradition because he talks about history.
12. On donating 90% of his salary to charity: The dimension is accountability and the polarity is individual because he was talking about himself and what he did.

There was a little boy set in the train seats when he see Todd he stand up and let Todd to set instead of him. I think is yes it might be a culture solution. In India the boys let the older people to set instead of them and this considered as respect to that old person.

4. As any exchange student, he has a lot of experiences trying new food. His first encounter is with an iced drink. What happens?

He drink iced drink after that he feel with sick in his stomach.

7. Todd wants to check in to a hotel. But Puro insists he comes to a boarding house. What is the reason he gives Todd?

Because of the place of that hotel is so lonely.

8. As soon as they meet, Aunti Ji starts asking very intimate questions that Americans who have just met would never ask. What kind of things does she ask?

She asked him a lot of personal questions.

Part A

How does Culture/ and the 12 Dimensions influence:

-         Life Choices ?

-         Thinking ?

-         Sense of Group / Accountability  ?

All people who making choices in them life, they choose them options depended on them culture. Manners, languages and religion all that controlled by the culture. For example the Amish group some of them they use horses to transport. They can use cars to transport, but them culture ignore that. Faith is what the Amish are loyal for the most, they think that the changes in the world can have influences that might be destructive to their lifestyle and other people say god only can change the world. All people think differently and this depend in them culture or what they learn when they are children from parents culture.

Examples from your experience / studies

When I go to a formal occasions I wear the Kandora and Egal (official uae dress) I can’t wear dress other than that, because it became one of my lifestyle. Also when the gusts come to my home whatever he is in UAE tradition we should give him the best food in my house so I give him Arabic coffee and dates. meet in grandfather home. 

Extra Mark - Muslim Chinese

Muslim Chinese - Collaborative Solution

  The Muslims Uighur are an ethic minority they live in the Uighur region in China. The Islam in China is practiced not from a few years, but from 1911 AD. In that region the Muslims are practiced them Islam freely and they have a few mosques to go to do pray freely. Not only Uighur region have mosques also some cities in china have like Beijing. 

The problem is those Muslim Uighur they faced the separatist movements, who those Muslims wish an independent Muslim state for themselves.

The solutions to solve this issue are:

1-      Should for every Muslims in china knows that they before be a Muslim he is a Chinese local so he have a right to do his religion freely.

2-      Should for a china government treat those Muslims and non-Muslims as a local and both are have same right and let them freedom of expression like others.
